Peragi Jakarta Administrators for 2020 - 2023 Period Inaugurated

Indonesian Agronomic Association (Peragi) Chairman, Andi Muhammad Syakir inaugurated the Administrators for Peragi Jakarta for service year 2020-2023, Monday (8/10).

Peragi Jakarta is expected to implement the knowledge, professionalism, and competence by contributing their ideas for the nation

Peragi Jakarta 2020-2023 Administrators appointed Sylviana Murni as the Chairperson with 113 members consisting of Deputy Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, 7 Divisions, and Secretariat.

H e conveyed, Peragi Jakarta Administrators was formed to empower agricultural professional organization in agronomy sector.

Ciracas Residents Utilize Unused Land for Urban Farming

He expected Peragi Jakarta can be a professional organization that can participate in improving agricultural competitiveness, technology and innovation, and delivering information to the public.

"Peragi is a professionalism and discipline from agricultural sector. Peragi Jakarta is expected to implement the knowledge, professionalism, and competence by contributing their ideas for the nation," he explained.

Sylviana Murni intended to develop and improve urban farming in Jakarta and make it easier to be applied by all Jakarta residents.

"With assistance from KPKP Agency, I want to realize urban farming at RT/RW. I believe that Peragi will support this program and improve urban farming in Jakarta," she conveyed.

As the Peragi Jakarta 2020-2023 Chairperson, she is committed to gain more knowledge, skills, and innovations related to agronomy that are fit for Jakarta.

"The limited land becomes the problem in Jakarta, but through modern agricultural innovation, I'm sure it will not only improve city's food security from urban farming, but also expand the green open space," she asserted.
