Ten PSBB Violators Face Social Work Punishments

Joint personnel gave social work sanctions to ten people who have violated the transitional large-scale social restriction (PSBB) regulation by not wearing masks in Senen Sub-district, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (8/27).

Senen Sub-district Head Jarpiko said that these violators were demanded to clean public facilities and infrastructure around Jalan Paseban Raya for 20 minutes.

"There are even some motorcyclists who do not wear masks choose to turn around and avoid officers," he expressed.

The operation called Giat Optibmask is in line with Gubernatorial Regulation number 51/2020 on Transitional PSBB. Thereby, to curb the COVID-19 spread, his party continued to campaign health protocols such as 3M (Mencuci tangan (washing hands), Memakai masker (wearing masks) and Menjaga jarak (keeping a distance).

"So don't forget to wear a mask, wash your hands using soap and keep your distance, your mask is your vaccine," he stressed.
