Regent Encourages Residents to Fight COVID-19

Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi encouraged residents to be discipline in implementing health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

"We want people to participate in fighting COVID-19 by implementing health protocols," he said when doing work visit to North Thousand Islands, this Tuesday (9/8).

In this chance, Regent was accompanied by SKPD and UKPD during the work visit and discussion with the local residents. Work visit was started from Kelapa Island Urban Village, Harapan Island Urban Village, and ended in Panggang Island Urban Village.

Thousand Islands Promotes 3M Protocols at Piers and Tourist Sites Massively

In this work visit, his side visited urban villages to discuss with the locals about development programs and government policies.

"We invite the locals to monitor and support development in Thousand Islands for community development and prosperity," he asserted.

His side also apologized to residents for the delay in infrastructure development and several community programs that had been scheduled due to COVID-19 outbreak.

"Hopefully COVID-19 outbreak to end soon thus the delayed development programs can continue," he said.
