10,000 Masks Distributed to North Jakarta People

The masks will be distributed to six sub-districts through three pillars

The North Jakarta Metro Resort Police is distributing free masks in the Jogging I Park, Kelapa Gading.

In that occasion, Sigit Wijatmoko, Mayor of North Jakarta symbolically received 10,000 masks from the North Jakarta Metro Resort Police to be distributed to residents in six sub-districts.

335 Masks Distributed to Tidung and Untung Jawa Islands People

He appreciated them in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic in all its regions.

"The coronavirus case keeps creeping up. Moreover, we will enter the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) on September 14," he expressed, Saturday (9/12).

His party also kept inviting residents to always comply with 3M rules (Mencuci tangan (washing hands), Memakai masker (wearing masks) and Menjaga jarak (keeping a distance) that were the most appropriate efforts to anticipate the spread of coronavirus.

"This is uncomfortable indeed but being hospitalized was very uncomfortable," he asserted.

North Jakarta Metro Resort Police Chief Comr. Sr. Sudjarwoko uttered this action was a form of role model for the community to comply with the rules for using masks to avoid the disease.

"The masks will be distributed to six sub-districts through three pillars," he stated.
