Rice Supply and Stock at Cipinang Central Rice Market is Still Safe

PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya ensures that the availability of staple foods at Cipinang Central Rice Market (PIBC), East Jakarta is safe. That is why residents do not need to worry over scarcity of staple foods in the market.

Rice stock in the market is still normal

PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya Operational Director Frans M Tambunan expressed, until Friday (9/11), the supply of rice entering PIBC reached 3,133 tons. It still exceeded the normal supply of between 2,500 - 3,000 tons per day.

As for the rice stock reached 32,129 tons, which means that it could be sufficient for Jakarta's needs for the next ten days ahead. He added, the rice price as of September 11 was still stable, such as rice type IR-1 at Rp 10,525 per kg, IR-2 Rp 9,800 per kg and IR-3 Rp 8,750 per kg.

"Rice stock in the market is still normal," he expressed, Monday (9/14).

During the pandemic, his party kept conducting innovation to meet the needs of the community, starting from rice, cooking oil, wheat flour, sugar, garlic, eggs, UHT milk, mineral water, sardines and corned beef.

Aside that, the company also had launched various new products namely, sardines and corned beef, organic white brown rice, bottled mineral water and fried rice FS.

"Its launching complements the product portfolio that has been produced by PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya. Especially for organic white brown rice, this is proof that they have started to enter the organic rice business," he stated.
