Jakarta Child Protection and Empowerment and Population Control Agency (PPAPP) says as many as 3,928 coached Jakprenuers are still active in business until September.
Jakarta PPAPP Agency Head Tuty Kusumawati said her agency continued to strive to grow the productive economy of Jakpreneurs through various assistance measures. It was provided to make them survive amid the COVID-19 crisis.

"The assistance provided includes assistance for access to capital. We also open online consultations, helping to get access to halal licensing and certification, soft skills and hard skills training through virtual workshops," she explained.
To smoothen it, the agency had cooperated with 15 universities to participate in fostering Jakpreneurs.
"This cooperation agreement (PKS) was made after the MoU between the city administration and the higher education service Institution. It is also in line with the Governor's Call on Large-Scale Social Collaboration (KSBB)," she stated.
