Transjakarta Served 3,632,047 Passengers Within Two Weeks of PSBB

There was a decrease in number of Transjakarta passengers during the reimplementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB). Transjakarta recorded as many as 3,632,047 passengers within the first two weeks of PSBB implementation.

In average, it reached 200 thousands passengers in the first week of PSBB

PT. Transjakarta Corporate Secretary and Public Relation Division Head, Nadia Diposanjoyo conveyed, on the first week of PSBB implementation (September 14-20), it reached 1,952,210 passengers.

"In average, it reached 200 thousands passengers in the first week of PSBB. In that period, the highest number of passengers reached 286,471 people on Wednesday (9/16)," he mentioned, Wednesday (9/30).

In the second week or on September 21-27, number of Transjakarta passengers reduced into 1,679,837 people.

On that period, she added, Transjakarta was operated from 5 AM to 7 PM. Her side advised people to stay at home if there is no urgent need.

But if people need to go outside, Transjakarta ensured to remind passengers to do 3M (wearing mask, washing hands with soap, and maintaining safe distance) and follow instructions from personnel on the duty.
