Chairman of Palmerah Community Forum (FPMP), Asmawi admitted until now, 58 families refuse relocation plan. Whereas, they should already occupied the flat on Friday (10/10).

He explained, relocation was refused when citizens ask for an explanation on rent payment to the flat management. The reason is, according to the rules, they entitled to occupy the flat for free over the first six months.
"Citizens want an explanation, how much money that should be paid after passing the first six months and what is the procedure," expressed a man who serves as Chairman of RW 01.
Unfortunately, he furthered, in the meeting, the flat management did not give a concrete explanation. Citizens then refused to be relocated and agreed to sue the city administration to provide compensation. "If they refuse to give compensation, citizens will take legal action," he asserted.
West Jakarta Administration Secretary, Syamsudin Lologau uttered the compensation would only be provided for those who had legal land certificate.
"Actually, the relocation plan is a government's solution to prosper its citizen. If citizens refuse it, they will lose," she exclaimed
