East Jakarta Has Prepared Disaster Mitigation Infrastructure

We prepare them for disaster mitigation and post-disaster

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency has prepared a number of facilities and infrastructure for disaster mitigation.

Social Protection and Poor Prevention Division Head Abdul Salam said his party was always ready to handle disasters, like floods, fires or other disasters.

For the infrastructures and infrastructure that had been prepared were including 200 personnel of emergency response unit (Tagana), 12 personnel of Social Disaster Preparedness (KSB), 5 units of evacuation tents with a capacity of 20-40 people, food/beverage logistics and clothing for people affected by the floods.

"We prepare them for disaster mitigation and post-disaster," he expressed, Wednesday (10/7).

There were also other preparations, including 1 unit of mobile public kitchen vehicle, 2 operational vehicles, 3 service cars, 1 unit of motorboat made from fiber, 20 units of life vests and 3 round buoys, as well as 1 public kitchen on standby at the East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Office, Jalan H. Naman Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit.

"So, residents do not need to worry as we have prepared all disaster management needs," he stated.
