The Illegal Building on Green Line will Be Curbed

The seal and demolition of the illegal building that have no permission and offend the rule did not make the owner wary. It is because many citizens are still building on forbidden land.

As seen on Tanah Abang II Park or on the side of Connection Channel on Jalan Abdul Muis, Tanah Abang. Two buildings in form of car saloon and restaurant were built there.

Those buildings absolutely offend the law and complained by the citizen. "Why the two buildings are not demolished. It's clearly built above the green line," said Abdul Rozak (45), Friday (10/24).

He asked the Central Jakarta Administration officer to demolish fairly. "The officer had demolished the illegal building on the same location," he added.

Central Jakarta Acting Mayor, Rustam Effendi, refused if the officer did not fair in demolishing the illegal building. "We've sent warning letter, but ignored by the building owner. Satpol PP will demolish the building forcefully," Rustam stated.
