Heavy Rain, Four RTs and Seven Roads in Jakarta Inundated

Of four RTs, three are in Bangka Urban Village, South Jakarta and one is in Rambutan Urban Village, East Jakarta

Heavy downpour that started since afternoon caused floods in several residential areas and roads in Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/27).

Jakarta BPBD's Center for Disaster Data and Information (Pusdatin) Head Mohammad Insaf said, based on the data gathered at 3 PM, as many as four neighborhood units (RT) in South and East Jakarta were inundated to a depth of 10-70 cm.

Floodwater Inundates Two Roads in Bintaro

"Of four RTs, three are in Bangka Urban Village, South Jakarta and one is in Rambutan Urban Village, East Jakarta. Hopefully the floods quickly recede in the next one to two hours," he conformed.

As for the seven inundated roads in South and East Jakarta, including:

- South Jakarta

1. Jalan Kemang Utara IX, Duren Tiga, Pancoran

2. Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda, Kebayoran Lama Selatan, Kebayoran Lama

3. Jalan Pondok Karya, Pela Mampang, Mampang Prapatan

- East Jakarta

1. Jalan Raya PKP, Cibubur, Ciracas

2. Jalan Raya Kelapa Dua Wetan, Kelapa Dua Wetan Urban Village, Ciracas (near Griya Tria Asih)

3. Jalan Raya Jambore, Cibubur Urban Village, Ciracas (near AHHAS Motor)

4. Jalan H. Inen, Lubang Buaya, Cipayung

"Motorists should be careful when passing them, as the average water level is around 10-30 cm," he stated.
