Thousand Islands PMI Handed Over Assistance for Handling COVID-19

Thousand Islands Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) handed over assistance for COVID-19 handling to the Thousand Islands Regency Government.

We need to cooperate to overcome this pandemic

The assistance consisted of 70 disinfectant spraying units, 130 antiseptic soaps and 2 handwashing facilities. Those were handed over by Natsir Sabara, Head of Thousand Islands PMI to Thousand Islands Government and Social Welfare Assistant (Aspemkesra), Sujanto Budiroso at Mitra Praja Office, Sunter, North Jakarta.

Thousand Islands PMI Head, Natsir Sabara conveyed, his side really supports government's efforts in preventing COVID-19 transmission.

"We need to cooperate to overcome this pandemic. Hopefully this assistance can be used properly," he stated, Wednesday (11/4).

On the other hand, Thousand Islands Aspemkesra, Sujanto Budiroso conveyed his gratitude and appreciation for Thousand Islands PMI's participation in providing assistance since the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic.

"This assistance will be distributed to each urban villages to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he said.
