Senen Extension Underpass Trialled Until Tomorrow

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency conducts a trial of the Senen Extension Underpass Monday (11/9). It is scheduled in the morning and evening, precisely at 8 AM to 10 AM and 4 PM to 7 PM.

After passing two days of testing, the underpass that has been completed will be closed again for corrective actions

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency Head Hari Nugroho said it would take place two days. He explained, the traffic flow opened amid the trial was from Jalan Letjend Suprapto or Cempaka Putih through the old underpass and then turning right through the newly constructed underpass towards the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital (RSPAD) or Lapangan Banteng.

"After passing two days of testing, the underpass that has been completed will be closed again for corrective actions," he told, Monday (11/9).  

Senen Underpass Extension will Be Tested in November 2020

He explained it aimed to find out changes in the behavior of vehicle drivers passing Senen Intersection with the opening of the underpass that leads to Jalan Senen Raya or Lapangan Banteng.

"We are evaluating things that need to be improved with the opening of the underpass, including the installation of signs, markers or other things that are deemed necessary," he stated.
