Planning to Visit Museum During Transitional PSBB Period? Make Sure to Follow These Steps

During Transitional Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period, Jakarta Culture Agency has reopened museums for public with strict health protocols. Thus people are encouraged to make reservation before visiting museum.

It is better for visitors to contact the number before visiting the museum

Jakarta Culture Agency Head, Iwan Henry Wardhana mentioned, his side offered Hotline service for residents who want to make reservation to visit museum. Because his side limited visitors up to 50 percent from normal capacity during Transitional PSBB period.

"We have opened hotlines at several museums. It is better for visitors to contact the number before visiting the museum," he said, Monday (11/16).

Transjakarta Launches Three New Routes

Before entering museum, visitors should comply with health protocols in the area by wearing mask, washing hands, having their body temperature checked, using non-cash payment to buy tickets, and filling visitors data. "Museum is opened for visits from 8 AM to 5 PM," he added.

"Museum officers are instructed to monitor and adjust distance between visitors and if they found any visitor or employee exposed to Covid-19, museum will be closed for three days to carry out disinfectant spraying regularly," he explained.
