Two Communal Infiltration Wells Built in Matraman

Two communal infiltration wells have been built on the yard of the Al-Hidayah Musala, Jalan Pengayoman, RT 08/08, Utan Kayu Utara, Matraman. It is done to accommodate water in large quantities that can be utilized by locals.
Matraman Sub-district Head Andriansyah explained it was the result of collaboration with one of the banks through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
Nine Infiltration Wells Built at RW 01 Untung Jawa Island"This is the initial stage and we target to build 100 wells this year," he expressed, Tuesday (11/17).
He explained, those wells were made in a diameter of 1.2 meters and 2 meters depth. In the middle of them, there was a pipe measuring 4 inches with 20 meters depth.
"Thus far every well can be completed in two to three days," he said.
He exclaimed the land used to build the well itself was in an existing infiltration well, but had been deepened.
"One well can accommodate rainwater from 10 residents' houses," he stated.
