PAL Jaya Inaugurates Communal IPAL in Ujung Menteng

PD. PAL Jaya inaugurated Communal Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) at RPTRA Sangkuriang, Ujung Menteng Village, Cakung, East Jakarta. 

Communal IPAL can cover 40 families or 200 people in RT 01/01, Ujung Menteng Urban Village

PD. PAL Jaya Acting Managing Director, Hidayat Sigit Suryanto mentioned, IPAL was built through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program which assissted by Air Force Parent Cooperative (Inkopau). Besides, local residents were also educated how to take care of Communal IPAL.

"Communal IPAL can cover 40 families or 200 people in RT 01/01, Ujung Menteng Urban Village," he said, Tuesday (11/24).

PD. PAL Jaya Distributes Digital Devices to Assist Students

On this occasion, he also gave appreciation to all parties including private sector that had collaborated in realizing Communal IPAL. Because it used privately owned land to build this Communal IPAL.

"This Communal IPAL is built on 100 square meters land owned by private party. We build it and residents will take care of it," he explained.

His side Communal IPAL can give benefits to residents at RT 01/01, Ujung Menteng Urban Village and avoid them from various disease such as stunting, malnutrition, diarrhea, and others.

Cakung Sub-district Head, Ahmad Salahuddin also appreciated Communal IPAL construction program in his region.

"Ujung Menteng Urban Village will be used as a pilot project for Communal IPAL utilization," he conveyed.
