In a Week, 381 Trees in South Jakarta Pruned

Of 381 trees, 77 are pruned at light level, 294 are pruned at medium level and 10 are pruned at heavy level

The South Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest Sub-agency has noted that as many as 381 trees prone to fall have been pruned during November 23-29.

According to Winarto, Sub-agency Head of South Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest, the pruning itself involved task force personnel from 10 sub-districts and buser teams, as well as the Parks and Urban Forest Sub-agency.

Throughout October, 2,462 Trees in South Jakarta Pruned

"Of 381 trees, 77 are pruned at light level, 294 are pruned at medium level and 10 are pruned at heavy level," he expressed, Monday (11/30).

In a week, the task force personnel had pruned 22 in Cilandak, 36 in Jagakarsa, 12 in Kebayoran Baru, 31 in Kebayoran Lama, 29 in Mampang Prapatan, 39 in Pancoran, 24 in Pasar Minggu, 22 in Pesanggrahan, 27 in Setiabudi and 47 in Tebet.

Then the first buser team managed to prune 23 trees, the second team pruned 18 trees and the third team pruned 81 trees.

"It is done to prevent unwanted things for the safety of the people," he stated.
