East Jakarta Holds Disaster Response Simulation

Today, East Jakarta Government and Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) held disaster response simulation at Cililitan RPTRA, on Jl. Ciliwung RT 10/16 Cililitan, Kramat Jati. As many as 500 joint personnel participated in this simulation.

"Disaster response simulation is carried out to ensure the preparation of our personnel and equipment in handling disaster," conveyed Muhammad Anwar, East Jakarta Mayor, on Tuesday (12/1).

In this activity, participants learned about flow of information delivery and evacuating flood victims using rescue equipment.

"Importantly, current disaster handling should be adjusted to health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he asserted.

This simulation involved 500 joint personnel from Social Sub-agency, Gulkarmat Sub-agency, Environment Sub-agency, Transportation Sub-agency, and Satpol PP.

"Moreover, we also involve local residents, TNI/Police, and administrators from sub-district/urban village to city levels," he mentioned.
