Thousand Islands SDA Builds Rainwater Storage Tanks in Panggang Island

Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency built two rainwater storage tanks in Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands.

Current progress has reached 50 percent

Those rainwater storage tanks were built at RPTRA Tanjong Timur and next to Panggang Island Urban Village Office.

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Abdul Rouf stated, his side built rainwater storage tanks with length and width of 150 centimeters, and as high as 130 centimeters for its foundation.

Five Rainwater Storage Tanks Built in Untung Jawa Island

"Current progress has reached 50 percent. Our target is to finish the construction at least by the end of this month," he conveyed, Friday (12/4).

This year, his side planned to build 5 rainwater storage tanks in Panggang Island.

"Rainwater storage tanks is expected to fulfill resident's need of clean water. I t can be used for free," he mentioned.
