Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency builds 5 rainwater storage tanks in Untung Jawa Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.
We are targeting to finish construction of all rainwater storage tanks next week
Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Abdul Rouf conveyed, rainwater storage tanks construction has been started since November 23, 2020 in RPTRA Amiterdam, Arsa Park, Transportation Agency PIer, Karang Taruna Building, and PAUD School.
"We deploy 15 personnel to build rainwater storage tanks. Its current progress has reached 50 percent," he said, Thursday (12/3).
Two Toren Tanks Being Built on Pari IslandHis side made foundation with size 110 x 80 cm for each rainwater storage tanks.
"We are targeting to finish construction of all rainwater storage tanks next week," he asserted.
Each rainwater storage tanks has capacity of 1,050 liters which is expected to fulfill local residents' need of clean water.
"It can be used to fulfill residents' daily needs for free," he stated.
