Thousand Islands' Tax Revenue Reaches Rp 21.08 Trillion

We will continue to optimize the tax revenue realization

Realization of revenue from 13 types of regional taxes has reached Rp 21.08 trillion or around 34.60 percent of the total target revenue as of January until December 4, amounting to Rp 60.92 billion

"We will continue to optimize the tax revenue realization. Six types of taxes that are our concern, such as hotel tax, restaurant tax, ground water tax, advertisement tax, PBB-P2 and BPHTB," expressed Thousand Islands Local Tax Collection Service Unit (UPPRD) Sub-division Head, Randy Rahmawati, Tuesday (12/8).

PBB-P2 Realization in East Jakarta Exceeds the Target

He explained the highest tax revenue came from PBB-P2, which reached Rp 17.49 billion or 32.77 percent of the target set at Rp 53.38 billion.

"Currently, restaurant tax has exceeded the target. This year's revenue is set at Rp 498.52 million, but it has already reached Rp 2.19 billion, precisely increased 438.62 percent from the target," he explained.

Through socialization and collection to taxpayers, he hoped, it could increase local revenue through taxes in Thousand Islands.

"We urge them to obey taxes, as tax has financed the development of the Thousand Islands thus it has become as advanced as it is today," he stated.
