Central Jakarta Government imposed temporary closure sanction on hotel located on Jalan Gunung Sahari Raya, Gunung Sahari Utara, Gunung Sahari, which considered proven to have violated health protocols.

Central Jakarta Acting Mayor (Plt), Irwandi conveyed, his side temporarily closed hotel's operation because it didn't have permission from Tourism and Health Ministries regarding facilities to accommodate COVID-19 patients at the hotel.
"We close it until the next three days according to the applicable regulations," he said, when leading the closure on Friday (12/18).

Residents are worried it will become new COVID-19 cluster in the region.
"We have asked hotel manager to move all COVID-19 patients to hospital since yesterday. Today, there are no guests at the hotel and it will be closed temporarily until the next three days," he stated.
His side will impose stricter sanction if the hotel manager returns to accommodate COVID-19 patients without permission from central government
"If they return to violate the regulation, they will be fined Rp 50 million. When they violate it for the third time, we will close hotel permanently," he asserted.
His side ensured to continue monitoring hotels in Central Jakarta thus similar thing wouldn't happen again.
"We will form integrated team to monitor all hotels in Central Jakarta which are used to accommodate COVID-19 patients," he mentioned.
