Panggang Island Urban Village Head Pepen Kuswandi, urged local residents to become obedient taxpayers. Moreover there are currently waivers for repayment of urban and rural land and building tax (PBB-P2) as listed in Gubernatorial Regulation number 115/2020 on Granting of Tax Base Relief and/or Abolition of Administrative Sanctions for Tax.
He said they would get a reduction in the tax payment by 20 percent and a penalty waiver on outstanding bills for previous years.

According to him, the apparatus had conducted door-to-door outreach and appealed to residents to soon fulfill their tax obligations.
"Until now, we have visited 43 of the 148 taxpayers," he told.
