Here are Tourist Sites Closed Due to Pandemic

Jakarta Culture Agency (Disbud) is about to close dozens of tourist destinations in Jakarta on the Christmas 2020 holiday until the New Year 2021. It is a way to prevent Covid-19 transmission.

Jakarta Disbud Agency Head Iwan Henry Wardhana said the policy would be applied on December 25, 31 and January 1.

"It is compliance with Governor's Call number 17/2020 on controlling community activities in the prevention of Covid-19 during the Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021 holidays," he said, Wednesday (12/23).

Those tourist destinations in question were Jakarta History Museum, Taman Prasasti Museum, MH Thamrin Museum, Joeang'45 Museum, Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum, Textile Museum, Wayang Museum, Maritime Museum, Cipir Island, Kelor Island, Onrust Island.

Then, Si Pitung House, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta Arts Building, Wayang Orang Bathara, Benyamin Sueb Park, Miss Tjitjih, Dance and Karawitan Condet Laboratory, Betawi Cultural Village Area and Art Training Building in five regions.

"So use your holiday time to stay at home and monitor family health. And also follow the Covid-19 health protocol," he stated.
