BMKG Survey: Heavy Rain Will Shower Jakarta in Early November

High intensity of rain is estimated to take place in November-December

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts heavy rain will flush the capital city in early November. Therefore, residents asked to be vigilant against the threat of flooding.

According to Edvin Adrian, Head of the BMKG's Climate Change and Air Quality Center, this October 2014 already entered the transition season. While heavy rain is predicted to pour the city in early November-December. Similar circumstances also hit Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Bodetabek).

Jakarta on Standby to Face Rainy Season

"High intensity of rain is estimated to take place in November-December," he predicted, Thursday (10/30).

For Friday (10/31) until Saturday (11/1), rain with light intensity will flush Seribu Islands, East Jakarta, and Bekasi. While Central Jakarta predicted cloudy all day. 

As known, on Wednesday (10/29) night, heavy rain showered Jakarta area and its surroundings. Even since Thursday (10/30) morning, clouds blanketed Jakarta.
