Onrust Archaeological Park Has Reopened

They have been opened since yesterday

Onrust Archaeological Park, which includes Onrust, Cipir and Kelor islands, finally reopened to the public after being closed during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Jakarta Maritime Museum Management Unit Head Berkah Shadaya expressed, tourists who wanted to travel to the location still had to comply with health protocols to prevent transmission of COVID-19.

"They have been opened since yesterday," he expressed, Tuesday (1/5).

Amid the pandemic, he explained, visitors were limited to only 50 percent of its normal capacity. Then they should undergo a body temperature check before entering the location and wash their hands and keep their distance from each other during the visit.

"As a preventive effort to prevent the disease, the Onrust Archaeological Park area is routinely sprayed with disinfectants," he stated.
