Residents Encouraged to Have Rainwater Harvesting at Home

There are many things that can be utilized using this system, like household needs

Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Agency encourages residents to create a Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) system in their respective houses.

Jakarta SDA Agency Head Juaini Yusuf said, the RWH system is a technique for collecting and storing rainwater into a water infiltration.

"There are many things that can be utilized using this system, like household needs," he said, when being confirmed, Thursday (1/7).

It was very helpful washing cars, watering plants, washing clothes, to flush toilets.

"So every house has a rainwater storage tank, then pump it first and make the best use of it," he stated.
