Karet Semanggi Targets to Have 15 Infiltration Wells

As many as 7 infiltration wells have been built in Karet Semanggi Urban Village, Setiabudi, South Jakarta in the near future. Until the end of this year, 15 wells are targeted to be built in the region.
Karet Semanggi Urban Village Head Achmad Yani said those wells that aimed to minimize flooding would have two to three meters and one and a half to two meters width.

He stated that Karet Semanggi is one of the pilot projects for flood management. Therefore, his side would continue to increase the construction of infiltration wells through PPSU officers and funds from the community.
"As much as possible, we will continue to build more infiltration wells, even if possible up to 50. But, until the end of this year, we are targeting to realize 15 wells," he stated.
Those seven wells were two on the yard of the Karet Semanggi Urban Village Office, on the yard of the Nurul Huda Mushola, Jalan Guru Mughni, RT 06/02, Gg Buntu, Sawah Karet and so on.
