Gulkarmat Sterilizes Two Houses in Lancang Island Owned by Residents Exposed to COVID-19

Two houses owned by residents who are exposed to COVID-19 in Lancang Island, RT 01/02 and RT 03/03 of Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, were sprayed with disinfectant this morning.

In those houses, residents who are exposed to COVID-19 carry out self-isolation

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency Sector 8 Unit Head, Eko Mahendro stated, disinfectant spraying was carried out to follow up request from local health center (puskesmas).

"In those houses, residents who are exposed to COVID-19 carry out self-isolation," he said, Tuesday (1/19).

His side deployed 3 personnel from Sector 8 Unit to carry out disinfectant spraying.

"Personnel use 15 liters disinfectant for this spraying. Hopefully, disinfectant spraying can prevent COVID-19 transmission in Lancang Island," he conveyed.
