RW 04 COVID-19 Task Force of Bendungan Hilir Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta which formed since April 2020, continues to encourage people to prevent COVID-19 transmission in their environment.

We can be exposed to COVID-19 anytime, thus strict health protocols should be obeyed

RW 04 Head, Eko Rini Susianti mentioned, her side tried to foster a caring attitude between the residents thus they can remind each other about the importance of implementing health protocols, such as wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining safe distance, and avoiding crowds.

"We can be exposed to COVID-19 anytime, thus strict health protocols should be obeyed. This is what we always remind to the residents of RW 04 Benhil," she asserted, Thursday (1/28).

Residents throughout 21 RTs in RW 04 Benhil also worked together to help residents affected by COVID-19.

"Residents voluntarily donate their money to buy staple foods and distribute it to residents affected by COVID-19 but don't receive social assistance from government. In other words, people who are financially stable help those who are less fortunate," she said.

In addition, Task Force team also collaborated with residents and other relevant agencies to spray public facilities and residential areas with disinfectant.

"We also distribute staple foods for people without symptoms (OTG) who are undergoing self-isolation in their homes. Thus they don't feel isolated when exposed to COVID-19," she explained.
