Jakarta Bermasker Movemenet Campaign on Panggang Island Intensified

We socialize and educate locals on the importance of complying with health protocols to stop the chain of COVID-19

The Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands continuous to campaign the Jakarta Bermasker Movement as one of the efforts to curb the transmission of COVID-19.

Panggang Island Urban Village Head Pepen Kuswandi said the campaign was held by cooperating with the North Thousand Islands and involving urban villages, PKK cadres, Dasawisma and Jumantik cadres.

"We socialize and educate locals on the importance of complying with health protocols to stop the chain of COVID-19," he expressed, Friday (2/5).

North Thousand Islands Sector Police Chief AKP Josman Harianja encouraged the locals to be disciplined in implementing health protocols by always wearing masks, diligently washing hands, as well as maintaining physical distancing and avoiding activities that trigger crowds.

"Hopefully, the Thousand Islands can quickly return to the green zone," he stated.
