"The levee is collapsed due to frequent erosion of the water, as its condition is still natural," she expressed, Thursday (2/18).

She explained it was located close to the levee which was completed last December, namely on the border between the Cilangkap 1 and 2 levees.

Despite it had eight meters length, she explained, the terrain was very difficult. There was no vehicle access, so all materials should be transported using a cart.

Moreover the condition was also worsened by the rainy weather which currently falls in the capital.

"The repair itself is focused on the east and west sides of the old levee. It is targeted to be complete in two weeks," he stated.
