West Jakarta Holds Convergence of Acceleration and Prevention of Stunting

The West Jakarta administration, held a Conference on Acceleration and Prevention of Stunting Convergence Actions at one of hotels, Jalan S Parman, Slipi, on Monday (3/1).

It is hoped that this consolidation will help accelerate the handling of stunting problems

West Jakarta Mayor Uus Kuswanto said it was held to consolidate the central government and local governments in handling stunting.

"It is hoped that this consolidation will help accelerate the handling of stunting problems. We also present speakers from the Ministry of Health and academics," he expressed.

Thousand Islands is Targeted to Be Free From Stunting

He explained that one of the ways and efforts to prevent stunting was by paying attention to diet and nutrition in children.

West Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head Kristy Wathini added the effort made was by carrying out eight actions involving all related circles.

They were situation analysis, activity planning, stunting deliberations, regional regulations, human development cadres (KPM), data management, data publication and annual work reviews.

"It is participated by all SKPDs, PKK cadres, BUMDs and other circles via zoom application nor present in person," he said.
