1,800 Satpol PP Personnel Have Been Injected with First Dose of COVID-19 Vaccine

First dose of COVID-19 vaccine has been injected to 1,800 Jakarta Satpol PP personnel. It is the part of the second phase vaccination for target which prioritized after health workers.

As of March 12, vaccine has been injected to 1,800 personnel

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin mentioned, vaccination for his subordinates is still being carried out, from province to urban village levels.

"As of March 12, vaccine has been injected to 1,800 personnel. It becomes a joint effort to minimize the potential and impact of being exposed to COVID-19," he stated, Tuesday (3/16).

He explained that Satpol PP personnel are vulnerable group with high potential of being exposed to COVID-19. Because the are the forefront in monitoring 3M health protocols implementation during the pandemic.

"They are always dealing with many people in offices, restaurants, and markets. It makes them very vulnerable to exposure to COVID-19. As the forefront, it is important to vaccine Satpol PP personnel," he asserted.

He instructed personnel on the field not to neglect in implementing health protocols and 3M, although they have been vaccinated. Moreover, Satpol PP must be the pioneer in implementing 3M and health protocols.

"Hopefully, they are confidence that their immune system can be better with vaccine, but they must not neglect 3M," he closed.
