Anies Appreciates Role of Content Creator in Turning Development in Jakarta Into Memorable Experience

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan officially opened Content Creator Summit (ICCS) 2021 which was held virtually on Saturday (3/27). It is the third event held by Jakarta Content Creator which raised theme of collaborative work to fight pandemic. It was participated by various creator content from all over the country with various experts as the speakers.

In his remarks, he appreciated content creators for their roles in transforming existing development in Jakarta, especially development in infrastructure, to be a unique experience for each citizens. Thus development is not only facility that makes people's life easier, but also provide new experience for those who use it.

"We can only prepare (hard infrastructure) but they (content creator) can make it into different experience. Through their different perspectives, people can have various experiences from what they see, and stimulate creativity in public facilities in Jakarta," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

He gave an example of JPO Sudirman development where content creators documented it from various perspectives that make residents feel the atmosphere from their own perspectives.

"There are many perspective that can be made. The existing ideas in infrastructure development produce experiences which hopefully can generate happiness and create an aura of kindness and hospitality. Thus Jakarta is not associated with cruel capital city, but city that is full of kindness and hospitality," he mentioned.

He advised content creators to take advantage of this pandemic to do more work. Moreover, atmosphere in Jakarta during the pandemic is a sight that will be difficult to find in the next few years after this pandemic is over.

"I underline on pandemic theme. During pandemic, there is work opportunity that may not be repeated in the future. You may not find deserted city because of pandemic, where the sky is bright blue. We hope you can take advantage of this pandemic to make as many works as possible to mark this phenomenon," he conveyed.
