KPKP Socializes B2SA Meal Plan to PKK and Posyandu Cadres

Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Agency socialized Diverse, Nutritious, Balanced, and Safe (B2SA) meal plan to all PKK and Posyandu cadres.

Jakarta KPKP Agency's Food Security Division Head, Lya Imbasari mentioned, cadres who are mostly women and housewives, are the ones who determine meal plan for the family, especially nutritional intake for children's growth and development.

"Achieving food security in Jakarta is one of the main goals of B2SA coaching and socialization to Posyandu and PKK cadres," she said, Monday (3/29).

PKK and Posyandu cadres were educated about B2SA meal plan thus they can improve nutrition for their families by implementing it.

In 2022, all sub-districts in Jakarta are targeted to be special location for stunting alleviation intervention that will be carried out thoroughly.

"We want everyone to realize the importance of balanced meal plan and good nutritional intake for children. Therefore, PKK and Posyandu cadres will promote B2SA meal plan to families and communities," she conveyed.

She hopes that the more people who understand about B2SA meal plan, the more competitive human resources with best quality can be produced as the next generation.

"Through socialization and guidance, we hope mothers can implement B2SA meal plan for their families," she closed.
