PAM Jaya is targeting to add 100 water kiosks in various locations in Jakarta in the near future. Water Kiosk is a water service acceleration program for the community to get quality water at affordable prices.
PAM Jaya's External Relations Manager Linda Nurhandayani said the kiosk placement was based on the survey results by PAM Jaya's technical team. It was in the form of a water reservoir or tank with four to five cubic meters capacity placed on a 2x3-meter land.
PAM Jaya Socializes Rights and Obligations of Clean Water Customers on Harapan Island"Until now we have surveyed 33 locations. Our focus is on the land that had yet to have access to piping networks in West, North and East Jakarta," she expressed, Thursday (4/8).
She explained they would be built in stages after the location verification and procurement process was complete.
"That means this year we'll have 202 kiosks," she explained.
By so, it was hoped that the benefits of clean water services could be felt by the people. Moreover, its existence had a positive impact on the community in terms of health through quality water.
"The price is very affordable. For the use of the water kiosk will be charged at Rp 14,200 per tank car or the equivalent of four cubic meters," she closed.
