Mud Dredging on Jl. Kaca Jendela II will Be Completed in The Next Two Months

South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency targeted mud dredging work on channel located on Jalan Kaca Jendela II, Rawajati Urban Vilage, Pancoran, will be completed in the next two months.

Dredging has been started since April 3 and we target it to finish in the next two months

Pancoran Sub-district SDA Sub-agency Unit Head, Agus Bowo Leksono stated, his side deployed 7 personnel to clean the channel manually since April 3 using hoes, shovels, and other tools.

"Dredging has been started since April 3 and we target it to finish in the next two months," he said, Thursday (4/22).

In dredging channel with width 30 centimeters and length 630 meters, his side has completed 10 percent of the work. It took time to dredge it because there were many buildings above the channels that had to be demolished first.

"It is a bit difficult to dredge the channel because many buildings above it. Besides, this location often used as market in the morning," he explained.
