10 Trees alongsidee Jalan Pahlawan Revolusi Pruned

Nine personnel of East Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest Sub-agency have pruned 10 trees alongside Jalan Pahlawan Revolusi, Pondok Bambu, Duren Sawit, on Sunday (5/2).

Forestry and Green Belt Division Head, Atang Setiawan disclosed tree pruning was carried out, as the twigs and branches of trees had dangled into the street.

991 Trees in Central Jakarta have Been Pruned

He added the thick branches of the trees had also covered the street lights at night, so it could trigger criminal acts.

"That's why we prune these trees for anticipating unwanted things," he closed.
