1,788 Trees in West Jakarta Pruned

The West Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest Sub-agency has noted that as many as 1,788 trees have been pruned throughout January to March 2021.

It is done to anticipate fallen trees and victims, especially the passing motorists

Jauhar Arifin, Sub-agency Head of West Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest disclosed those trees were pruned in light, moderate to heavy categories. In the same period, there were also 42 fallen trees.

Of 1,788 trees, he detailed, 588 were pruned in January, 589 were in February and 611 were in March.

Five Trees Pruned on Jl. Mabes Hankam

"It is done to anticipate fallen trees and victims, especially the passing motorists. Those trees tree also have soared into the power cable," he expressed, Friday (4/9).

It was carried out to follow up on citizen reports sent via the CRM application.
