Health Protocol Tightened During Eid Prayer at Cut Meutia Mosque

Hundreds congregants carried out Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri prayer at Cut Meutia Mosque, Menteng, Central Jakarta, by implementing strict health protocols on Thursday (5/13) morning.

Eid prayer at Cut Meutia Mosque was led by Khotib Ahmad Faizal Reza and imam Ustad Mahfud Mustofa from 7 AM.
Before prayer started, Cut Meutia Mosque caretakers encouraged the congregation to always implement health protocol, such as wearing masks and maintaining safe distance to curb COVID-19 spread.

In his speech, Mahfud Mustofa encouraged congregation to strictly implement health protocol to help government to stop COVID-19 transmission.
"Hopefully in the next year's Eid, COVID-19 will no longer exist and we can gather together with our relatives," he conveyed.
Cut Meutia Mosque's Islamic Youth Chairperson, Muhammad Husein mentioned, his side cleaned up and sterilized the mosque before Eid prayer was held.
"Eid prayer is implemented in accordance with Jakarta Government's direction by using Cut Meutia Mosque's field. After the prayer, there are no more activities in the mosque area," he said.
