Eight Tagana (Disaster Preparedness Cadet) members were deployed to be on standby at East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Office and post during Eid holiday.
Public kitchen should be also on standby to anticipate disaster
East Jakarta Social Sub-agency's Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation Section Head, Abdul Salam said, eight Tagana members divided into two shifts every day at 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00. They were deployed to be on standby in public kitchen, in case of large-scale fire or flood or other natural disaster.
"Public kitchen should be also on standby to anticipate disaster," he added, Friday (5/14).
North Jakarta Has 18 Disaster Preparedness VillagesHe hopes Jakarta will remain safe from natural disaster, during Eid holiday and in the future.
"Personnel are deployed in accordance to the need in the field," he mentioned.
