Satpol PP and Police Deployed to Guard 17 TPUs in East Jakarta

There are between four and six officers in the field

Satpol PP and police officers have been deployed to guard 17 public cemeteries (TPU) in East Jakarta.

Forest and Green Belt Division Head, Atang Setiawan said it was done to prevent unwanted things, related with the ban on pilgrimage activities for May 12 to 16.

Security Tightened in Public Cemeteries

"There are between four and six officers in the field. This number doesn't include members of the TPU security officers," he said, Sunday (5/16).

He explained those 17 TPUs were consisting of Penggilingan at Jalan Layur, Utan Kayu or Sunan Giri at Jalan Rawamangun Muka.

Then Cipinang Besar, Kebon Nanas, Kober Jatinegara, Prumpung, Pondok Kelapa, Pondok Ranggon, Kampung Penggilingan in PIK Penggilingan area, Kalisari, Cijantung, Kampung Gedong, Cibubur I and II, Kampung Dukuh, Rambutan I and II, and Munjul.

"They will open as usual tomorrow," he closed.

“Untuk Senin besok normal kembali, semua TPU dibuka dan penjagaan hanya dilakukan  Pamdal TPU,” pungkas Atang.
