28 Returnees in Cideng Take Antigen Test

As many as 28 Cideng Sub-district residents who had just returned from their hometown (mudik), immediately taken rapid antigen test held by Gambir Health Center COVID-19 Task Force Team at ITC Roxy Mas Parking Lot, on Monday (5/17).

Cideng Urban Village Head, Agus Aripianto said, this antigen test was carried out for free to anticipate COVID-19 transmission in the region.

"Antigen test is held to ensure returnees are not exposed to COVID-19," he added.

His side has asked RT/RW administrators to collect data on residents in their regions who have just returned from their hometown. Data collection is carried out through Jakarta Dukcapil Agency's Data Warga application.

"I also ask residents who have just returned from their hometown to take antigen test. Antigen test will be carried out until end of May," he mentioned.

Meanwhile in Kampung Rawa Urban Village, Johar Baru Sub-district, on Monday (5/17) morning, 6 residents had undergone antigen test after returning from hometown.

"Today, we pick up 6 returnees to take antigen test at health center," said Ferry Zahrudin, Head of Kampung Rawa Urban Village.

If there are returnees who are found positive for COVID-19, his side has prepared self-isolation rooms at Johar Baru Sport Center (GOR), Tanah Tinggi Urban Village official residence, and Wisma Atlet Kemayoran.

"We also attach self-isolation sticker this returnees will remain at home for the next 14 days," he conveyed.

His side will continue to monitor returnees in the region who live in boarding houses and rented houses. It is estimated the peak of Eid backflow to occur in Thursday (5/20).

"We will check their documents and require the to take antigen test first," he asserted.
