Jalan Kali Anyar 10 Tambora Needs Repair

The residents who live in Tambora, West Jakarta, are requesting related unit to immediately repair Jalan Kali Anyar 10. It is already a year the road is damaged and full of potholes. Whereas, the road located in Kali Anyar Urban Village is a strategic access that connects Jembatan Besi Urban Village, Tambora Sub-District, with Grogol Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-District.
Indeed, the road had been repaired late last year, asphalted. But because it was exposed by rainwater, the road is damaged again
The four meter wide road is actually had been asphalted late last year, but it soon damaged again and difficult to be passed by vehicles. Allegedly, the damage is because the repair work was done in rainy season, thus the asphalt quickly damaged because of exposed by water.
“Indeed, the road had been repaired late last year, asphalted. But because it was exposed by rainwater, the road is damaged again,” said Dewi (37), a resident of Jalan Kali Anyar, RT 02/RW 02, Kali Anyar Urban Village, Tambora Sub-District, West Jakarta, Monday (11/17).
Newly Repaired Sidewalks Already Damaged AgainMeanwhile, Head of Tambora Sub-District, Yunus Burhan, admitted has filed for the road repair to West Jakarta Road Public Works Sub-Department. In the proposal, he requested for to road to be reinforced with concrete.
“We have proposed for the road to be repaired in 2015. We also requested for the road to be concreted,” he stated.
Responding on this matter, Head of West Jakarta Road Public Works Sub-Department, Sukowibowo, explained that road repair of Jalan Kali Anyar 10 will be proposed in the 2015 budget. But, the realization depends on the condition of the City Council (DPRD) which strongly influences road repair program in West Jakarta.
“We’ll propose it in 2015. But, the thing is that DPRD condition currently is still not yet conducive. There is probability that improvement programs might be postponed,” he uttered.
