He mentioned that dredging work on Anak Ciliwung River has been started since February 2, 2021 and it is targeted to be completed by the end of May.
"Its progress has reached 85 percent," he conveyed.
He explained, his side is dredging the river with length 500 meters, width 55 meters, and depth 7 meters.
"We have collected 41,776 cubic meters of mud sedimentation which transported to Ancol PLTU's dumping site," he said.
According to him, this dredging work is expected to optimize water flow of Ciliwung Lama River/Gunung Sahari River that leads to Ancol Estuary or Ancol Sea.
"Anak Ciliwung River is dredged thus it can optimize the flow of Ciliwung Lama River/Gunung Sahari River to Ancol Estuary because the silt is high in there," he stated.
