id that message conveyed by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan when attending Buddhist Trial Day of Vesak 2565 celebration at JIExpo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta was empirical facts."I certainly agree with Governor. Diversity is natural, diversity is God's creation, that's why we must strive to maintain unity. This is what we need to take care in Jakarta for the unity of Indonesia," he mentioned, Wednesday (5/26).

"Anies always promote Jakarta as City of Collaboration. It means that everyone must work together and help each other thus it can be realized easily and we have the sense of responsibility to take care of it," he asserted.
He was proud of Anies who attended at Vesak Day event. In fact, from the start, he was willing to attend the event after knowing Anies was invited. It shows that Anies is leader for all, nurtures and brings sense of security and conduciveness for religious communities in the capital.
"Let us support all efforts to maintain unity and hopefully Jakarta can rise as soon as possible from the negative effects of COVID-19 pandemic," he added.
For information, this year's Vesak Day raised theme of 'Awakening the Spirit of Unity for Advanced Indonesia'.
This Vesak Day celebration which held at JIExpo Kemayoran was attended by General Chairperson of Indonesian Buddhist Representatives (Walubi), Hartati Murdaya Poo and PT. JIExpo International Commissioner, Murdaya Poo. While there were also figures who delivered their speech virtually in this event, including Vice President of Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin; People's Representatives Council of Republic of Indonesia Chairperson, Puan Maharani; and Tourism and Creative Economy Minister, Sandiaga Uno.
Vesak Day celebration at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, was held in compliance with health protocol to prevent COVID-19 transmission.
