Hundreds of Students in North Jakarta Participated in Virtual Literacy Tour

The North Jakarta Library and Archives Sub-agency once again held a virtual literacy tour participated by 100 students of SDN Pegangsaan Dua 07 Pagi and SDN Pegangsaan Dua 05 Pagi, on Thursday (5/27).

By so, we are all helped to support them how to improve their competence through reading activities

Archive Division Head, Fajar Andi expressed it was a routine agenda that invited students to explore the collection of books at the North Jakarta Library and Archives Sub-agency Library.

"They (students) can benefit from this activity. It is something special and presented to the next generation and begins with opening the horizons of the world through books," he expressed.

It also filled with a storytelling session by a storyteller under the sub-agency, Saiful Bahri, who read a children's story book entitled "Duuuh! Kepala Cican Gatal!" (Cican Anak Sehat) by Wahyu Aditya. There were also demonstrations of the ability to read poetry and sing from a number of students.

Aside that, SDN Pegangsaan Dua 05 Pagi Principal, Jarmah expressed his appreciation to the sub-agency for giving his party the opportunity to participate in this activity.

"By so, we are all helped to support them how to improve their competence through reading activities," he admitted.
