Dozens of residents living in RT 07, 08 and 14/RW 03 Bambu Apus Urban Village, Cipayung, East Jakarta, underwent a mass rapid antigen test, on Tuesday (6/1), after finding 27 people tested positive for Covid-19.

It is held, as the puskesmas is closed today. Tomorrow, it will run normally

Bambu Apus Urban Village Head, Dodo Supendi said it was held involving two health workers from Polda Metro Jaya Police Medicine (Dokkes), Jalan Bambu Apus Raya, RT 08/RW 03. To smoothen it, personnel led by East Jakarta Metro Resort Police Vice Chief, AKBP Ahmad Fanani directly picked up residents who were still at home.

"It is held, as the pu skesmas is closed today. Tomorrow, it will run normally," he said.

He explained those 27 people were from RT 07, 08, 14/RW 03. 23 had been quarantined at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran since Monday (5/31) afternoon, 3 underwent a self-isolation at home and one had been rushed to Duren Sawit RSUK.

According to him, the resident who was isolated in the house as he/she was old and had a stroke, identified as W (65), a resident of RT 14. He/she was accompanied by a child who was in a nurse and was suspected of being positive for Covid-19.

"The virus is in the category of family cluster. This is because they are still one family and the house is one with each other," he furthered.

East Jakarta Metro Resort Police Vice Chief, AKBP Ahmad Fanani added that 300 kits had been prepared during antigen test.

Up to 12:30 PM, 50 had undergone the test. While 5 were reactive and would be continued to take antigen test. If the results were positive, they would be quarantined.

"Certainly we will add more kits soon, as many people have yet to take the test," he stated.
