Illegal Parking, Five Vehicles on Jalan Tebet Timur Raya Towed

As we know, the government always reminds its residents that they must park their vehicles on provided places or run the risk having their cars towed, especially in South Jakarta.

It is done to follow up on reports from the public who complained that the shoulder of the road became a parking lot

This time, the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency has so far seen five vehicle owners in some areas sanctioned. They were netted from Jalan Tebet Timur Raya, precisely in the front of Aisyiyah Kindergarten (TK), Tebet Timur Urban Village, on Friday (4/6).

According to Didi Supriadi, Executing Unit Head of Tebet Sub-district Transportation Sub-agency, the illegal parking operation today involved dozens of joint personnel from Sub-district Transportation Sub-agency, Satpol PP, urban village, urban village, police, LMK and FKDM.

"It is done to follow up on reports from the public who complained that the shoulder of the road became a parking lot," he expressed.

Of six vehicles towed, five were private cars and one public transport vehicle. They towed and brought to the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Office.

At the same time, his party was also holding socialization about the prohibition of parking on the roadside to residents and business owners around the location.

"We take humanist persuasive steps to share education on traffic order," he stated.
